Thomas Gordon Hannah, 34 years old, of Pinellas Park, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. Thomas was born on March 2, 1989, to Gordon J. Hannah and Fran Hannah Echols in Saint Petersburg.
After attending Pinellas Park High School and Saint Petersburg College, he moved on to work in the Pinellas County School system for over 10 years. Recently he had begun to quickly work his way up at Intrepid Powerboats as Facility Maintenance Supervisor.
Tom was an avid motorcycle enthusiast from a young age. At eleven years old he fell in love with drag racing and started Hannah Racing with his father. They competed in many events both locally and nationally and even won the All-Junior Drag Bike Racing League 2004 National Championship. He enjoyed fishing, scuba diving, dirt biking, sword and blade collecting and loved the many pets he had over the years. While he liked all kinds of music, he connected with county music and it was his favorite.
Tom was a dedicated father, cherished his children Morgan and Samuel and always made them his priority. He loved to participate with them in all sorts of activities such as cheerleading, football, fishing, daddy-daughter dances, dirt bike riding and so much more. He was a great friend to everyone whose life he touched. He was always there to help and support them, whether that meant getting under the hood of a car, repairing a broken sprinkler system or leaking water pipes, or the back splash in the kitchen. He made everyone feel as though they were his best friend because they genuinely were.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Antoinette DiGiacomo.
Thomas is survived by his beautiful and bright daughter and son, Morgan and Samuel, his adoring mother and father, Fran and Gordon and older brothers David and Chris. He also leaves behind a very large extended family, including cousins who grew up as close as siblings, loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, caring in-laws, and stepparents.
Thomas was a shining light in an otherwise dark world, and he will be forever loved and missed by everyone who knew him. Rest in peace.
