Our beloved father Robert “Bob” J Springer 92 of Pinellas Park FL passed away on October 3, 2023 surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Bob was born May 29, 1931 in Hadley New York. He was the son of the late Silas and Anna (Ovitt) Springer.

After graduating high school, Bob went to serve his country and was a proud Veteran of the Korean War. He worked as Director of Operation for Eastern Airlines in Tampa FL for many years prior to his retirement. In the summer months, Bob would come home to Hadley and his family to enjoy hunting and fishing at the family hunting camp. He was a very competitive Scrabble player, who was not afraid to challenge you. He also enjoyed cooking for his family and poker with friends.

Bob was predeceased by his parents; his wife Nancy Springer, siblings; Dottie Springer, Clinton “Sonny” Springer and Donald Springer.

His survivors include his children: Donna Brady of Little Silver, NJ, Deborah (Dennis) Hall of Montgomery AL. Cynthia (Barry) Jones of Mundelein IL, Robert (Joann) Springer of Odessa FL, Timothy (Carol) Springer of Tampa FL, Jay (Maria) Springer of Ruskin FL; siblings: his identical twin brother Herbert (Verna) Springer of Warrensburg NY, Dora Jean Lozier of Queensbury NY, Edward Springer of North Carolina, Richard (Joyce) Springer of Fort Edward NY; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dear Cindy, Barry and the rest of the Springer family. We are so saddened to hear of the death of your beloved father, Bob. We only met Bob twice. He was such a lovely man. No doubt he’d raise such a lovely daughter (Cindy)
