May 22, 1930~August 21, 2024

Robert B. Litchfield, 94, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 21, 2024, in Seminole, FL.  Bob and his beloved wife, Audrey, were happily married for 63 years before Audrey’s passing in 2018. Together, they raised five children: Tom (and Janis), Robyn, Bob (and Kathy), Sarah (and John), and Chris (and Suzanne). In addition to his children, Bob is survived by seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, all of whom loved him dearly.

A proud member of the 148th Fighter Group in the US Air Force, Bob served his country during the Korean War. As a young father of four children under the age of five, he exemplified determination by working three jobs while attending night school to earn his engineering degree from Northeastern University.

He had a lifelong love and appreciation for the outdoors, which he shared as a Scout Master for the Boy Scouts for over twenty years. His passion for nature and dedication to the Scouts left a lasting impact on many young lives.

Bob’s life was a testament to his favorite motto: HWPO – Hard Work Pays Off. His children are forever grateful for the values he instilled in them, particularly the importance of perseverance and dedication. The phone calls and visits they shared throughout their adult lives will be deeply missed.

Known affectionately as Dad, Grampa, Peepop, Great Grandpa, Uncle, and Friend, Bob leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and cherished memories. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

My heart is broken for you. Your dad was such a wonderful person who knew how to light up a room. I am so fortunate to have gotten a chance to meet him. He will live on in your heart. Sending hugs and love. 🤗
