Patricia Viker, age 80, of Kenneth City, Florida passed away at Northside Hospital on December 28th after a brief illness. She was born in Queens, New York on September 13, 1943.
Trish was a retired correctional officer who in past years had been a homemaker, a craftsperson, and a bookkeeper. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, family time, bingo, and casino weekends.
She is survived by her sons Erik Viker of Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania and David Viker of Ellijay Georgia, her sisters Karen Recchia and Sharyn Janz of Pinellas County, Florida, and Lori Clausey of Citrus Springs, Florida, her grandchildren Dane, Taylor, and Matthew, and her great granddaughter Lucy.
In accordance with her wishes, Trish will be laid to rest in a private memorial service with immediate family. Her family hopes that everyone remembers her fondly, and suggests that contributions in her memory be sent to her favorite charity, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
