Mildred A. Scott “Millie”

Mildred A. “Millie” Scott, age 103, of Pinellas Park, Florida, formerly of Chicago’s East Side for 98 years, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2024.

She was born October 18, 1921, in Chicago. Beloved wife of the late George. Loving mother of Thomas (Kathleen), Jacqueline (the late Daniel) Presler, and the late William. Cherished grandmother of Tammy, Thomas and Kristy; Amy, Daniel, Nell and Megan; Alex and Meagan. Dearest great-grandmother of many. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers and sisters.

She worked, in the office, at St. Francis de Sales High School and was a longtime volunteer at the St. Francis de Sales food pantry. Millie was a longtime dedicated parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Church.

Visitation Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 10:00 am until time of closing prayers at 11:00 am at the Elmwood Funeral Chapel 11300 W. 97th Lane (1/2 block west of US 41/Wicker Ave at 97th Ln) St. John, Indiana. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. For more information 219-365-3474
