OMG Lewis!!! I never forgot about you, and I never forgot about the one time you stood up for me in Iraq. God gave you a gift of compassion. We were both young LTs deployed to Iraq, fighting for this country only to be broken by this country. I am deeply hurt and sad to know your life here is no more. May you Rest In Heaven!! And God bring comfort to your family and friends.

I want to thank everyone who took the time to tell me how much my son was admired by his fellow friends and comrades.
He never told me much about his tours or things that bothered him. Reading what each of you wrote made me so proud of him.
Thank you.
