Johnathyn Andrew Welch

Johnathyn Andrew Welch was born in Daytona Beach on February 13, 1986 and died on April 12, 2024 after a 10 year fight with cancer.

Johnathyn is the beloved and cherished son of William Welch and Giovanna Taylor. Johnathyn “Jay” is mourned by siblings Brendan Welch, Justan Welch, Arlisa Welch, and Sonya Welch.

Mourning his loss deeply is his life partner and soul mate, Ashley Messerman.

Johnathyn is also survived by uncles and aunts, and a whole host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends & co-workers, and the many people he touched so deeply.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 4^th from 12:00pm – 2:00pm at Sorensen’s Funeral Home, 3180 30^th Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33713
