Guy Paul Bouchelle, age 85 of Pinellas Park, died peacefully on Memorial Day 2023. Guy will join his loving wife of 50 years in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
He was born August 1, 1937 in Wilkes County, NC to Rolin Lee, Sr. and Alma Brooks Bouchelle. After high school, Guy joined the Air Force, rising to the position of radio operator, spending time in Texas, Mississippi, Japan and Korea. He met his wife, Lucille Marie Scaglione, while stationed at MacDill Air Force base. They lived in Tampa and Pinellas Park and were members of Seminole Heights Baptist Church and Pinellas Park Baptist Church.
Guy and Lucille successfully ran their own business for most of their careers. They raised two children, Karen and Matthew, and enjoyed their three grandchildren, Rebecca, Cameron and Daniel.
In addition to his parents and wife, Guy was preceded in death by two sisters, Delma Lee Bouchelle, Eula Lackey and three brothers Rolin Jr. Bouchelle, Carl Bouchelle and James Bouchelle. He is survived by his children, grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, Kenai and Willow, as well as his last remaining sibling Ann Craven of North Wilkesboro.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Bay Pines Veteran Administration and Suncoast Hospice for their assistance during Guy’s final year.
