George Hages II
July 18, 1960 – April 24, 2023
George Hages II, 62 of Seminole Florida passed away on Monday April 24, 2023. George was born July 18, 1960 in Springfield, OH where he lived until 1970. He attended Seminole High School in Seminole, FL, graduating in 1979. After graduation he attended PTECH and became a Journeymen Licensed Electrician. His world revolved around his family.
George met his high school sweetheart Beverly (Betsy) Bower in January 1977. They were married in 1981 and blessed with nearly 42 years of marriage. George was a loving son, husband, father, and grandfather (aka Papa) and a father figure to many other sons.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Hages, mother Joan Hages, two wonderful sons George (Jeana) Hages III, Christopher Hages; grandchildren, George Hages IV, Brice Hages, Alyssa Hages and Isabella Hages. He was preceded in death by his father George Hages and sister Patricia A. (William) Hubel.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 2:00pm at the American Legion Post 104 located at 7550 60th St. Pinellas Park, FL 33781.

Knew and was a friend of George when he attended Possum School in Springfield, OH. He was always pleasant as a youngster and he attended one…if not my only birthday parties around 1970 (I actually still have a photo). George relocated that same year down to FL I believe.
I thought I’d do a search on the internet to see if I could find out about how George was doing and say hello after all of these years. Instead I discovered this sad news that George had passed on.
