Frances Reilly

October 20, 1938~December 31, 2023

Frances Reilly was born on October 20, 1938, in Kankakee, IL. In 1972 she moved with her husband and children to Bradley, IL and in 1982 to the St. Petersburg, FL area. She was a woman of deep faith and attended daily Mass; she loved the Catholic Church and was faithful to her beliefs.

Frances worked hard and was self-employed for twenty years. She loved quilting and sewing, and put her skills to great use by making rosaries for different church groups and mission parishes. In addition, she was skilled with sewing, quilting, needle work and baking. She enjoyed games such as bingo and dominoes and playing golf with her husband Gerald when her health was better. She always had a smile on her face which reflected her deep love for her family and the Lord.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Violet Monik, and her brother, Joseph Monik. Frances graduated from Kankakee High School in 1956.

Jennifer,
Your presence in our lives since 1993 has been a blessing! I may have only met your mother a handful of times. Yet, I still remember her kind and welcoming face. All she taught you in words, actions, and faith will continue to guide you through life.
