I am so sorry for your family’s great loss. I am so grateful you will be reunited in time to come. Ricky, your dear father is embracing Jesus, earlier family and old friends! To him, it’s all forward! While you feel the loss and pain of recollecting precious memories, he is experiencing Joy Unspeakable! In time, your pain will be slowly overlapped with peace and comfort of the relationship you built together and will continue at the appointed time God determines. I am praying for you.

I have fond memories of Dick from Magnolia & St. Vincent’s. I remember Dick bringing some of us Steelton kids home from football practice in the Herrick family limousine. He was a fierce competitor and an all round good guy. RIP, Dr. Dick…

All I can say is, what an amazing man he must have been! I never met him! I have never read an obituary like this. I read it because I know Rita. I am in awe of all he did in his life. To his wife and family, you have my prayers and sympathy.

I just learned about Dick’s passing. I am so sad and heartbroken that he is gone. I have such fond memories of our times together in New Orleans, and while it’s been many years since we were together, I still think of him and you, Stella as such good friends. Please accept my condolences and know that you and Dick are in my prayers
