It is with overwhelming sadness that our family announces the passing of our Mother Deborah Lynn Ray on Friday September 22, 2023. Born in Marion , Indiana to Margaret Mae Messler and Warren Sylvester Ray.
She was very loved by her family, son, William Clarence Johnson aka Billy, and daughter Heather Lynn Davidson, and of course every animal she came in contact with. She lived her life to the fullest and was quite a handful. We had many adventures together, never a dull moment with her around.
She was a mother of two children, cat mother of four, grandmother of two, GG to four great grandchildren and eldest sister to eight siblings. She was loved by all.
She had been fighting a battle with cirrhosis of the liver for the past year and was ready for her suffering to end. She was not only our Mother, but Our Best Friend. She will be forever missed.
We will hold a private celebration of life.
