Carmen Grote peacefully departed her loving family at the age of 90 to join her beloved husband on January 11, 2024.
She was born in Thonotosassa, Florida on September 3, 1933 to Charles and Louise Stanley.
Carmen was mother to Kenneth M. Grote, Tina R. Aber (predeceased) and Gary P. Grote. She also raised her grandson, Brian Wolf, after the loss of her daughter. She cared deeply for her family with her home filled with love and devotion in Largo with her husband of 52 years, Kenneth P. Grote.
As a long-time employee of Sears, Carmen was known for her attention to detail and ethical professionalism. She adored her co-workers and often took them under her wing.
She is survived by her children, Kenneth M. Grote (Joan), Gary P. Grote (Jean), grandson, Brian M. Wolf (Lisa) and many other grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her husband, Kenneth P. Grote, her daughter, Tina R. Aber, both of her younger sisters, Virginia Anderson and Sharon Dove and their husbands, and both of her parents.
Services will be held at Taylor Funeral Home, 5300 Park Blvd., Pinellas Park, Florida on January 17, 2024, at 11:00 am.
Followed by a burial service at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park, Largo, Florida.
