Betty Ann McCown

Betty Ann McCown, 85, of Pinellas Park, passed away at home on Wednesday, April 3^rd surrounded by her family.

Betty was a native of St. Petersburg, where she raised her family and began her career as a legal secretary.  She was also a long-standing member of the American Legion Post 104 Women’s Auxiliary.

She is survived by her son Michael Glen McCown, and daughter Lisa Maureen Bowman, both of Pinellas Park, FL, her brother Don M. Paulson, Jr. of High Springs, FL, 6 grandchildren, Randy G. Bowman, Tesha A. Magazino, Shane P. McCown, Tyler L. Bowman Sr., Zachary McCown and Joshua McCown, and her 5 great-grandchildren, Cameron J. Magazino, Jordan T. Magazino, Tyler L. Bowman Jr., Valerie Bowman and Sophie Bowman.

Betty was predeceased by her husband Glen E. McCown, and her parents Don M. and Cora D. Paulson.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 25th at 3:00 pm at Taylor Funeral Home, 5300 Park Blvd., Pinellas Park, FL 33781, followed by a reception at the American Legion Post 104, 7550 60th St. N. Pinellas Park, FL 33781.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that plants be brought to the reception.  These will be planted by the family, in memory of Betty.
