Angelo J. Tiseo born June 2, 1938 to the late Bertha and Louis Tiseo in Detroit, Michigan passed away Monday, May 5, 2025. He was the oldest of six boys. Angelo leaves behind his beloved wife and friend of 26 years, Susan.
Angelo served in the U.S. Army National Guard prior to joining Ford Motor Company in 1956. While at Ford he served as Committee Man, Chairman, and ultimately President of Local 228. Later he was appointed to the International Staff of UAW until he retired in 2001.
In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, and spending time with his friends and family. He was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Elks Lodge of 2159, and American Legion Post. He was a strong Catholic and family man, if you were his friend, you were his friend for life. Angelo will be remembered for his colorful storytelling, a roaring laughter and a fierce loyalty to all. He lived the last words of Fr. Solanus Casey beautifully, “I give my soul to Jesus Christ.”
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Louie, Michael and Bob (Virginia) Tiseo. Angelo leaves behind his brothers, Richard (Nancy) and Bruce (Toni) along with many nieces and nephews, friends and his beloved cat, “Boots”.
We would like to extend our gratitude to the staff at Suncoast Hospice Care Center Mid-Pinellas County for their compassion towards Angelo and Susan in his final days.
In lieu of flowers… please donate to Fr. Solanus Casey. https://www.solanuscasey.org/help-us-serve/donate/

So sorry for your loss. Another UAW Titan gone. I went back with Angelo to 1972. I can still picture him sitting in the old 228 Committee Room holding court and laughing. A true labor leader and gentleman in every sense of the word. RIP Brother.

We are so sorry to hear about the passing of Angelo. He had a heart bigger than his appetite. One of his greatest joy was eating, spending times with friends and of course his devotion to Susan. We know his memory will continue to nourish our hearts. He will surly be missed by all.

“Angelo was like a father to me, always there when I needed him. My family and I will miss him dearly—his jokes, his sarcasm, and every moment we shared.”
