Amanda Lynn Compton, a lovely, loving woman who passed too soon, March 11, 2022. She will be missed by her family; mother, Melba Thompson; stepfather, Charles Thompson; and father, Warren Compton, Jr. (deceased); and her aunts, Virginia Lyle (James) & Cindy Edwards (Tom) and her cousins & friends. She attended schools in Statesville, North Carolina and graduated from Dixie Hollins High School in Kenneth City. Amanda loved animals and her pets, Lucy & Sophie.

I am so sorry for your loss, I also lost my daughter to the unseen realm this last year. It is hard so very very hard. My heart goes out to you in this time of grief. I am here if you need to talk. I would have liked to meet cousin Amanda, and I still will, “Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.”.
