Willie (Bill) Mac Davis, 69, passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, December 6, 2024. Born December 1, 1955, in Lakeland, Florida Bill graduated from Hillsborough High School in Tampa in 1973.

In his early adult life, Bill worked in the hospitality and restaurant industry throughout the Tampa-St Petersburg area.

In 1979, Bill met the love of his life, Bradley Cooper and the two shared 43 wonderful years together. They ultimately married in 2018 and built a successful life together operating cleaning, catering, and house/pet sitting businesses, until Brad’s passing in 2022, and Bill’s courageous battle with cancer in the years that followed.

Bill and Brad shared a love for fine dining, sharing many evenings with great friends at local establishments in the Tampa/St Petersburg area.

Bill had a deep appreciation for music, especially current pop, R&B, and electronic genres. He also possessed a keen eye for art, evident in the stunning paintings and glasswork throughout their home. He also enjoyed simple nights playing UNO, giving a sly and delighted smirk when laying down those draw-four cards!

He will be remembered fondly and missed deeply by his family and friends.

The family extends heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all the health care providers who showed Bill extraordinary kindness, support, and care over the last three years.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Tammy Davis, and grand-daughter, Savannah Charles.

In accordance with Bill’s wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held.

The world is a much dimmer place without you here dad! Your in my heart always and forever. You know that I love you more than my luggage. The only thing that makes me happy is that you and Brad are back together again and now you guys can dance and twirl together in the clouds.
