Sabrina Lorita Sokalski

Sabrina Lorita Sokalski, age 12, of Valrico, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2026, surrounded by love—resting in her mommy’s arms while holding her daddy’s hands.

Born on December 12, 2013, Sabrina recently celebrated her golden birthday, a milestone that reflected the bright, special light she carried throughout her life. Sabrina had a beautiful and magical spirit. She was a sweet, wonderful angel who inspired hope in everyone who had the privilege of meeting her.

Sabrina loved music and cherished time spent watching sports with her daddy. She found joy in family adventures, especially trips to Disney World, and treasured every moment spent surrounded by those she loved most. One of her greatest comforts was cuddling with her beloved dog, Coco, who was always by her side.

Sabrina will be forever loved and deeply missed by her mother, Laura Sokalski; her father, Matthew Sokalski; her sister, Olivia Sokalski; and her brother, Cooper Sokalski. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandparents, Wayne and Dawn Sokalski, and Raymond and Jean Welch; her aunt Rachel Golden and uncle Andy Golden; her cousins Hannah, Vivian, and Cecilia; and her uncle Tim Welch. Sabrina shared a special bond with her canine companion, Coco, and was deeply loved by her devoted nurse, Hilary, who cared for her with compassion and kindness.

A Celebration of Life honoring Sabrina will be held on Saturday, January 10, at 11:00 a.m., at New Hope Church, 213 N Knights Ave., Brandon, FL 33510.  A reception will follow at the church.

Sabrina’s light, love, and gentle spirit will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew her.

For those who are unable to attend in person, the service will be livestreamed so that family and friends may join us remotely to honor and remember her life.
