Rocco “Rocky” Capozza, 83, passed away on September 19, 2025, at his home in Pinellas Park, Florida.
A graduate of Beaver Falls High School, class of ‘59, he enlisted in the United States Army and was part of the US Army chemical training school. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree at Empire State College in business management and fire administration.
He was proudly employed with the City of Beaver Falls for twenty-one years as a Firefighter, Fire Engineer, Fire Inspector and as Fire Chief for the last nine years of his service. When he retired in 1991, he moved to Florida where he and his family resided for the past thirty-four years.
Born on September 24, 1941, in Beaver Falls, PA he was pre-deceased by his parents Rocco F Capozza and Leona Pisano Capozza.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Marian Chiodo Capozza and sons; Patrick Capozza, Pinellas Park, FL and Michael Nalli (Sharon) Beaver County, PA; his sisters, Madeline Bologna and Carol Yancich; nieces, Leslie, Julie, Stephanie; great-nieces, Alexa, Jessica, Mia, and great-nephews, Connor, Dominic, and Rocco.
Rocco was a kind, generous, and thoughtful man, who loved his family and his friends deeply. Always the quick wit, whenever he completed any large task, his favorite saying was, “done, D-U-N!”. He will forever be in our hearts; and we are so grateful he was in our lives.
At the request of the family, there will be no viewing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Beaver Falls Fire Department, 715 15th Street, Beaver Falls, PA 15010 or to St. Jude Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

To the family, Rocco “Rocky” was the nicest neighbor ever!!!!!
“Always asked how you were?” Always smiling and secretly he would enjoy my Christmas cookies each year and be the envy of the neighborhood because he was the only one I made sure would get some special holiday cookies. He will be missed greatly in our neighborhood. My prayers go out to the family and know “Rocky” will always live in your heart & many hearts who had the pleasure of knowing him. Much love and prayers for peace & fond memories during this most difficult time for your family.

Rocco always had kind word for me. He loved his and Lyle’s trips to Decosmo’s. He and Lyle would sit in the garage and talk for hours especially about their favorite football teams even though they differed on some, they both rooted for the Bucs. Our dog Jagger always loved Rocco’s pets and belly rubs and looked forward to his visits. Rocco was a great neighbor and friend. The neighborhood will not be the same without him.
Marian and Patrick our sincere condolences for the loss of your husband and father.
May Rocco be resting in the angels arms.
