Michael John Adams

Michael John Adams, 65 died from cancer under the care of hospice at Bay Pines VA Hospital on October 16, 2025.

Born in Bayshore, New York on Long Island.  After High School he joined the United States Airforce, where he graduated top of his class and became the squadron leader.  When he left the Airforce Mike went to the Fire Academy and graduated as a firefighter and being a man of perseverance became an EMT and paramedic in the early 80’s. He eventually retired from Bay Pines VA Medical Center in administration.

He is survived by his mother Barbara Adams, Sister Karen Mitchell (Skip), Don Adams (Jeanine), niece, Barbara Rapson (Matt), great nephew Adam and great neice Gracie.

Predeceasing Michael was his father Donald J. Adams, grandparents Slyvester and Ella Adams and John and Jennie Vanderliss and an Uncle Pete Vanderliss.
