Jeanean was one of the funniest and quick witted people I have ever met, she always had a good tale to tell and would have me laughing until I cried. Jeanean fully accepted me as a family member and made me feel so welcome, taking care of me when I was away from my biological family and Patrick. We loved spending time with her and were fortunate enough to travel to Italy with her, enjoying what she loved doing – eating, cooking and relaxing with her family. I am sure that like her hot sauce she has left her mark on so many people. I love you Jeanean, wherever you are, keep making them laugh.

Jeanean came into my life when I was a 14 year old working for her parents Bonnie and Wes at the original location of Los Charros Mexican Restaurant (foot of Lookout Mt.). Jeanean and Bruce with their 2 precious little girls Shawna and Nikie, moved to Chattanooga from Kansas to help her parents run the restaurant. I used to babysit the girls at the old “Georgia house” as it was called. Jeanean and I had many adventures through the years, and I always admired how tough and capable she was. And she had the most wicked sense of humor — I can still hear that laugh 🙂 She was an excellent cook, and it just came natural to her without having to use any cookbooks. It was most definitely in her blood! I’ll miss you old friend, but I know we’ll see each other again.
