Geraldine “Jeri” Emery

Geraldine “Jeri” Emery, age 95, of Pinellas Park, FL, passed away on January 5, 2025, at Goldton Assisted Living in St. Petersburg, FL.

Jeri was born in Hammond, Indiana, and moved here in 1959 from La Porte, Indiana, where she worked as a teacher at Starkey Elementary until retiring, and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pinellas Park.

She is survived by her nieces Kathleen “Kathi” Granucci and Elizabeth Espinoza.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and Jeremiah, son John, Sister Marjorie, and brother Earland.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 31^st at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 4661 82^nd Ave. N., Pinellas Park, FL 33781.

The Consolation Ministry of Sacred Heart will pray The Chaplet of Divine Mercy and The Holy Rosary starting at 12:00pm. All are welcome to join.

Mass will be followed by a gathering of family and friends at Kathi’s home, 9595 56^th St. N., Pinellas Park, FL 33782.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Jeri to the Humane Society of Pinellas, 3040 FL-590, Clearwater, FL 33759.
