Richard Dennis “Pops” Simonton

Richard Dennis Simonton “Pops”, 59, of St. Petersburg passed away Monday, June 25, 2018 at Woodside Hospice surrounded by family. He was born October 9, 1958 in Gadsden, Alabama to his mother Joyce Marie Simonton. He was a Pinellas county resident most of his life and worked as a florist for over 30 years at Flowers Unlimited. He’s is survived by his daughter Dana (Jamie) Banning and son John Uber; grandchildren; Brittany, Deni, Ian, Breanna and Izaha and brothers, Larry Hawthorne, Howard Simonton and Danny Simonton.

 A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Saturday, July 7th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the St. Petersburg Elks Lodge, 2675 66th Street N. St. Petersburg.
