Rachel Chiaverini O’Hara

Rachel Chiaverini O'Hara, 86, of Elmcroft of Pinecrest, Largo, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater. Rae was born in Newark, NJ., she came to Florida in 1958 from Boonton, NJ and was a resident of Pinellas Park for many years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Young at Heart Club, and volunteered extensively at the American Cancer Society, all in Pinellas Park. She also worked in the school cafeteria at Sacred Heart later in life and was a longtime & tireless volunteer at the church's fall festival. Survivors include her husband, James O'Hara, a son Charles, Boca Raton; a daughter, Linda Chiaverini Meehan, New York City, and three grandsons, Dylan, Nicholas and Christian Chiaverini. 

Visitation at Taylor Funeral Home on Tuesday; August 25th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

Mass: at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Wednesday August 26th at 10:30 am.

Interment: to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

I am so sorry to hear of Rachel’s passing.. She was one of the kindest, most generous woman I have ever known. And a great cook! She loved Sacred Heart church, and we loved her!!! Rest in Peace.
