John Tully

John Francis Tully, 65 year old loving father, passed away on April 6th , 2020 in the peace of his own bedroom. John was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey on November 25th, 1954. John moved down to Madeira Beach, Florida in 1968, where he started his life and family. John was the father of 7 loving children. Not only was John their father, he was their hero because he saved them from the foster care system. If anyone knew John, they knew how he would take the shirt of his back for any of his kids. Anyone who knew him knows that he could light up a room with his silly, repeated jokes. John was the hardest working man I ever met. God saw how hard John worked his whole life to provide for his children. Besides his kids, God was his best friend. He always told me “If you don’t have God, you are poor, you have nothing without God in your life”. My father loved God and loved his children. John is survived by his loving children: Jakob, Jacquelyn, Redmond, Jensen, Jillian, Tara, and John Tully.

Thanks Johny. I was your little brother. And you wanted me to be as tough as you. But there was a 12 year age Difference. And when you disciplined me it was tough on me. But it made me tougher than any kid around. Because if I could take it from you. Then I could take it from any kid. Thanks for teaching me to be tough. But also thanks for showing me another side of you. A caring and loving side. Who cared about his family and was always worried about his children. And his mother. And sisters. I… Read more »

There is no death. Our stars go down to rise upon some fairer shore. And bright in heavens Jewelled Crown. They shine forever more!
There is no death the dust we tread will change beneath the summer showers.
To Golden grain or mellow fruit or rainbow painted flowers.
There is no death. The leaves May fall the flowers may fade. And pass away. They only weight thru wintry hours. The coming of the May.
And Ever near us, though unseen, the fair immortals spirits tread
For all the founders universe is life, there are no dead.

Love your
Mommy.

I met John 50+ years ago and we
had some great adventures as teens
& young adults. We worked together,
started families and grew apart but
always remained friends & kept in
touch. He will be missed. My
sincere condolences to his family
during this very sad time.
