Jim Hart

James Edward (Jim) Hart, 66, of Hernando, Florida, passed away the morning of January 26, 2021 at Bayfront Health Seven Springs in Crystal River, Florida after a short battle with Covid Pneumonia. Jim was born and raised in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He served with distinction, 20 years in the US Air Force as a Load Master on C-141 cargo planes based in Charleston, South Carolina. After his retirement, he then worked another 20 years for Regan Safe and Vault Company in Little Rock, Arkansas. In 2018 he and his wife of 44 years, Mary Ann moved to Crystal River to be nearer their son Casey. He loved boating, fishing, hunting, working in his yard & garden and Jim always was up for a good road trip.

Interment will be held later at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.

I knew Jim well he was a great guy and a pleasure to fly with and be around
He is now flying with a great pilot and being watched over on high. I am so sorry for your loss.

Mary Ann and Casey, You know how much Jim meant to us. Our mornings will never be the same without waving goodbye to him while he drinks his coffee with Tobey. The beautiful spring days won’t be the same not seeing him puttering around the yard, and winters won’t be the same with him and Mike complaining about the dang citrus trees! We miss him already terribly and wish this was all just a big messy nightmare.
