Jim and I were close friends when we both worked at Derby Lane. He was a straight forward and honest guy who was trusted and always ready to pitch in when requested to help. I often bought him cigarettes at Mac Dill AFB to compensate for the favors he did for me. I can’t make the memorial Mass but, if a member of his family could pass to me his favorite charity, I would like to make a contribution in his memory. Semper Fi Jim. Larry Curl, 727-579-8336.
