I met Carl at Knights of Columbus Bingo. He always had a smile for me, and what a beautiful smile it was. One thing led to another and we were together for nearly 8 years. He was truly a bright light in my life and I will miss him always.

My husband & I first met Carl thru my high school friend, Karen (his fiancee), when he came w/Karen to pick up & care for our 2 cats. Carl was such a nice, kind & caring person – especially since he wasn’t all that much of a ‘cat’ person – LOL!! When my husband passed very unexpectedly a few months later, Carl was very supportive & kind. I will always remember him as that – KIND. Rest peacefully, Carl & stop by to say hello to Nick for me, if you would.

I met Carl at the Fire of the Spirit prayer group meeting at St. Jude’s back in 2015. He was kind, friendly, and contributed a lot to the discussions at the prayer meetings. My heartfelt condolences to his family and Karen.

Father, God, Thank You for the gift Carl was to so many. His Family, His Mom, till her passing, Karen and so many of His Sister’s and Brother’s from Church and our Prayer Group, “Fire of The Spirit.” Father God He Loved You on Earth and was not ashamed To Call Jesus Christ His Lord and Savior. Your Word Proclaims: ” For if you confess, with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Our Brother is now at his Heavenly reward. Help all who love… Read more »

We will miss you Carl ,dear friend. Many memories at Kenmore West Senior high school orchestra rehearsals and shows plus fun musical gatherings at your parents old homestead in Kenmore, with your enthusiastic aunt teaching and playing guitar chords to “your cheatin’ heart”. Sometime after high school, we once briefly formed a little combo and played at an old Irish bar for a special event. Later you even dabbled in real estate and were trying to help us buy a house. I think you even once belonged to the Elks club and wanted us to join too. One time,I remember us… Read more »

It’s a terribly sad thing – Carl & I go back about 50 years. We knocked around New York City together on a shoestring as fresh college grads in 1980, & had a heck of a good time. Although he moved to Florida quite a while ago, it’s strange to think he’s not there anymore. He was particularly unusual for what he lacked, which is to say he had no discernible nasty side to his personality, which is something to which all of us can aspire. Condolences to Marian, Dave, Lynda & all who knew & loved Carl. He was… Read more »

I met Carl through his nephew, Richard. He was supportive of Richard’s endeavors, especially in band, where Carl volunteered as a Band Booster for Dixie Hollins HS. We became friends, playing games online and sometimes just chatting. When he started dating my best friend, Karen, he became part of the family. Carl, your heart was unmatched and your love for Karen obvious. Resquiat in pace

I worked with Carl at H&R Block for the last 4 years. He was a rock; always ready to help his clients and available to other new tax preparers with questions. He will be sorely missed

I knew Carl and his mom through my association with the Pinellas Park Art Society (PPAS). When I first walked into Park Station in 2010 to see what PPAS was all about, Carl and Sally were so kind and welcoming. He always greeted me with a big smile and took time to chat about art and photography. I will miss him and send my deepest condolences to Karen and to his entire family. 🌹
