William Maxwell “Bill” Johnson, III, 61 years old, passed away December 13, 2021 with his sister Lori by his side after a long illness. Bill was born in Tampa, Florida, but lived in New York City, Dallas, Key West, and then settled back in Tampa to be close to family. Bill loved his family, spending Sunday’s cooking or enjoying Cuban dishes from Mimi or Mom’s kitchen. He also loved his 2 pugs and they brought him much joy. He worked for Acoustiblock in Tampa in accounting before his illness and had excellent accounting skills. He had impeccable taste in clothes, cars and houses, with his Davis Island home his favorite. He will be missed, but now he is in heaven with many of our loved ones. We have another angel watching over our family. His wishes were to be cremated and his ashes will be scattered in the Gulf of Mexico close to his mother and grandmother’s ashes. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Maxwell Johnson, Jr and Trudy Ashley. He is survived by his sisters Lori Rice, Lynn Watts and Leslie Cricks along with his nephews Brennan Mobley, Colin Mobley, Marlin Rice and his niece Cydney Stude.
Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care of Pinellas County took care of Bill and donations can be made in his name.
