Anthony (Tony) Todd Nikolich passed away unexpectedly on July 18th at the age of 57 years old. Tony is survived by his children: Tiffany and James; father, Robert Blasko Nikolich (Mary) and mother, Wanda Lee Combs (Truman); brothers, Kenneth Nikolich (Sue) and Daniel Nikolich (TJ); sisters, Tonya Nikolich Hines (Steve) and Renie Nikolich Greenberg (Brian); and nine nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Nikolich; and son, Christopher Nikolich.
Tony graduated from Lloyd Memorial High School in 1979. He was a member of the marching band and jazz ensemble. He was an accomplished saxophonist, receiving many honors for his solos and performances. He moved to the St. Petersburg/Clearwater area shortly after high school. He married his wife, Teresa in 1984. He worked for many years as a project manager for the Kash-n-Karry Company.
Tony enjoyed many of the activities Florida life provided: fishing, boating, and going to the beach. He continued his love of music by playing the saxophone for his own personal enjoyment. His greatest and most cherished accomplishment was his family. Tony was a beloved husband, father, son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend to all who knew him. He was known for many things, but most of all his generous heart and gentle nature.
