Amy and Adolfo will be truly remembered by their children, John, Kit and Karen; grandsons, Edwin, Nixon, Kyle, Kevin, Mason and Jackson; her sister, Florida and her nieces, Lynne, Leah and Liza.

Amy was born in Calbayog City, Philippines, her parents overcame the odds to send their two daughters to the University of Santo Thomas in Manila where she earned a degree in Nursing. In 1976, she bravely relocated to Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL. with only a suitcase and a dream.

There, Amy married her first husband Bill and welcomed their son John to the world. Bill passed away early, and Amy would later marry her childhood friend Adolfo, who remained her rock-solid, caring companion to her last day. Amy will always be remembered as a strong woman physically, mentally, and spiritually. She had a long battle with Lupus and was given a new lease on life after a kidney transplant. Despite her medical issues, she never lost her faith and was grateful for everyday she was given. She lived her life and enjoyed traveling all over the world: to fiestas, reunions or to visit family and friends.

Amy was a social butterfly with strong family ties and lifelong friends from high school and college. At Bayfront Hospital, Amy’s friendships laid the groundwork for Filipino American Club of Pinellas County. She was an avid reader, gardener and shared her love for Santa Nino through Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Amy was a member of the Columbiettes at Father Lopez #5737 and Adolfo was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #5737 & Assembly #3195.

Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Friday August 6, 2021 at 11:00 am, with Fr. Kevin Yarnell & Fr. Vijay Polamarasetty, celebrants.
