Casey E. Motley passed away suddenly on September 18, 2021 at the age of 44. He was born in Denver, Colorado on January 16, 1977. His family moved to and resided in Salem, Virginia for most of his life. He is a graduate of Salem High School and got his AA at Virginia Western Community College. In 2000 he moved to St. Petersburg Florida and has been there ever since. Casey was a loving husband, Father, and friend to all. He did electrical work and appliance repair for a living. In his free time he loves to fellowship, go fishing & kayaking and was great at and loved to play golf. Casey’s life was cut short and he will be truly missed. He had touched so many lives and was a pleasure to be around. He would always like to help put a smile on someone’s face. He was predeceased by his mother, Cherie Deyerle and father, Kenneth Motley, as well as his 2 uncles, Steven Proffitt & Michael Deyerle and his grandmother, Nancy Proffitt.
Casey is Lovingly remembered by his wife, Angela Cote; his son, Colby Motley; daughter, Sarah Stevens; stepchildren, Desiree & Domynic Cote, Za’vian Randle ( Grandson), James Proffitt ( Grandfather ), Scott Proffit (uncle), Cora Proffitt (aunt), Carolyn Trainor (aunt) and all in the Cote family.
